Above average neighborhood Italian. Charming service, good ambiance and food all prepared nicely. Overall a nice dinner experience however cocktails fell bit short thus one star removed. My martini had ice shards still present and glass of house Chianti was definitely from a bottle opened for several days. I understand in the hospitality industry it's not always easy so will be back to seek that 5 star review.

Old school Italian restaurant in Queens NY. On a busy Saturday night we were quickly and warmly greeted as we entered. Sat immediately with our reservations. First was a nice cocktail menu with a decent choice of beer. Our wonderful server explained the menu which wasn't overly large but had enough entree choices to satisfy most palates. The specials offered that night were all interesting. Our party of 4 ordered zucchini blossoms stuffed with ricotta and fried calamari for the table. Two of us ordered homemade parppedell with shrimp and a small lobster tail, then short rib over pasta and gnocchi rounded out the table. Service was tremendous as our server was polite, friendly and professional. Desert was also delicious!

I had this restaurant saved to my bookmarks, thank goodness. It is an amazing upscale Italian restaurant. We decided to visit this restaurant after my brother's graduation. It is a large spot with limited residential parking. The waiter was professional and attentive. The food was really good with family size portions. Will definitely love to come back again.

A Tinder date took me there about a month ago. It was super delicious. I had the shrimp and lobster risotto. It was so yummy. He ordered for me a rum punch and Italian mule (I that's what it was called). They were super delish. It got me very happy, very quick. We got a Tiramisu to take back to his place. Was a super fun date. Will definitely comeback with other Tinder dates.

I was so impressed and happily surprised by how great the food and restaurant were. The place had an old school vibe to it. Each dish, the appetizer and main dishes were really delicious and so full of flavor. The bread also came with a flavored oil that was fantastic. I was really happy with my experience here. The service was also exquisite with constant attention.

Decided to go and try new to me dishes at Luigi's on 4/6/24. We started with the fritto misto assortment and everything was fried lightly/perfectly. I requested a side of bolognese sauce for the bread since I'm not a pesto fan, and it was very good. We shared the short rib pasta and the chicken campagna. I enjoyed both dishes. Homemade pasta really makes a difference. The champagne sauce down to the mashed potatoes were even yummy. Food 4 stars Service 4 stars Ambience 4 stars

This is one of my go-to Italian restaurants in the area! I have been there several times, and they have always been very accommodating. The food is delicious, and the portions are huge! I always leave there full and with a bunch of leftovers. My favorite dishes there include: Appetizers: calamari, arancini, burata, colossal meatball Main Entree: short rib pasta, seafood pasta, salmon. I've also tried several other specials, and loved them all like the halibut and the lobster tail and shrimp pasta. Desserts: crème brûlée, chocolate cake with ice cream, cheesecake The servers are amazing, the restaurant interior is very appealing, and the price is reasonable. Highly recommended!
